Bringing Hope to Homes—One Neighbor at a Time

The Hope Closet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit emergency resource based in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. We collect essential household items donated by the community and connect them with individuals and families experiencing hardship throughout southern Wake County.

We provide beds, furniture, towels and linens, kitchen supplies, cleaning products, hygiene items, and other household essentials to help create safe, healthy, and habitable homes for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, crisis, transition, poverty, domestic violence, or other difficult circumstances.

But our mission is about more than household items. By connecting neighbors who want to help with families who need support, The Hope Closet works to build a culture of compassion and service throughout our community. We also create meaningful, family-friendly volunteer opportunities that allow people of all ages to serve their neighbors in practical ways.

Our goal is simple: to reduce barriers to timely assistance and help families in crisis find the support they need with dignity, compassion, and care.
